I am writing because I feel this product is a health hazard. And after sharing my concerns, Amazon did NOT even write back. Please do NOT buy this product. I saw the great reviews and I loved the sleek design so I bought it. I’m starting to become a little weary by all the products Amazon itself sells. I have never had that great an experience when it comes to their merchandise. However, this one in particular is a HEALTH HAZARD. For those who have purchased this product. I’ve only used it twice, yes, hard to believe, but ONLY TWICE and if you look into the lid’s structure you can see how faulty it is. But mine in particular had all the coffee milk foam CAKED ONTO IT. I have cleaned it in the dishwasher 3 times and by hand twice. I cannot reach the area that is now fermenting with milk. I did not know it was in that condition until I tried to pour myself a third cup and smelled puke on the lid…I was shocked as I diligently wash everything (I’m a pretty clean person), so I was both mortified and confused as to how this occurred. Well after examining it for awhile, this is the most poorly made product I’ve ever seen! I got this because I usually get the Nissan Thermos, which is AWESOME!!! [...] however, they were outta stock so I couldn’t get what I normally get. I was looking for a really tight lid with vacuum seal mechanism and this was the only one available at the time.
I truly regret getting this product as it served only to be a waste of money, COMPLETELY.
Please don’t buy this product as nothing good will come of it.

This is a pretty, sleek and seemingly sturdy mug. Unfortunately, if you try to sip hot tea out of the tiny hole you will get burnt. There is not sufficient venting out of the top to allow steam to escape. I have to use it without the top.

If you like to sip your coffee very hot this is not the mug for you!!
No sipping allowed with this mug. There is no lip on the cap to allow for cooling of your hot liquid. That first sip to see how hot your coffee is,is a killer. Be prepared for burnt lips and tongue.

Yep, the cup does not leak and that’s why I am keeping it. I used to have a Starbucks mug which leaked on my itouch – NOT GOOD! However, I am a bit disappointed that the mug doesn’t keep my tea hot – not even for an hour, therefore only three stars.

The color is cool but I don’t like having to hold in the button every time I need a sip. Also, Costco has the exact same mug 2/ $20. I paid $25.95 for 1 including shipping.
